You’ll have a chance to visit Mr Mortimer’s haberdashery near the beginning of Regency Love, when you go shopping with your best friend to complete your outfit for the upcoming Spring Ball. Who knows, you might unexpectedly make some new acquaintances…

Welcome to the first Tuesday Teaser, where we share titbits from our current projects. Today, Jenny brings you a piece of her lovely art:

Allow me to introduce the town of Darlington, the home location of our upcoming iPhone game, Regency Love. As you can see, the ladies are out for a stroll, donning their hats, while the gentleman remains dashing in his cravat and waistcoat.

Jenny is particularly fond of the gentleman’s colours, Melody likes that the townspeople are going on with their own lives in a scene that makes the world seem real, while Samantha adores the floral empire dress and wants one for herself.

Empire dresses, cravats, cotillions, and well-mannered conversations—what’s not to love about the Regency era? In fact, we are so fond of the distinctive time period during 1811-1820, that we’ve sought to re-create the Regency in our current major project, Regency Love, a dynamic role-playing game that allows you to experience a multi-layered world, rich with characters, places, and, of course, stories.
