Simply fill out the following form to enter! Entries close on 19 June, and winners will be contacted within a few hours.

Sunday Soiree: Regency-styled!

For the month of June, our blog posts will be themed around Regency clothing. Quite befitting, considering our current projects are rather Regency-heavy—in fact, we’ll be releasing the Costume Theatre dress-up app later this month (provided all goes smoothly at the App Store)!

In fact, to celebrate Regency attire, our first Sunday Soiree provides a sneak peak of how the Costume Theatre app could be used. And while we’re at it, we might as well introduce ourselves, too.

Jenny: The girl who drinks Chai. Nothing’s more fantastic than doing sketches with a cup of tea and a macaron on the side. Nothing more depressing than spilling said tea on sketches. Note to self: put tea further away from sketches.

Melody: Not so proper. Mel shoots a teacup while sporting a muslin gown with a cravat and top hat.

Samantha: Likes to pretend she’s a man of letters. Cravats, waistcoats, top hats—bring it on! And bring a notebook and quill, too.

Tuesday Teasers: The Hometown in Regency Love

Welcome to the first Tuesday Teaser, where we share titbits from our current projects. Today, Jenny brings you a piece of her lovely art:

Sunny skies, gossiping ladies, and some soulful, gentlemanly gazing.

Sunny skies, gossiping ladies, and some soulful, gentlemanly gazing.

Allow me to introduce the town of Darlington, the home location of our upcoming iPhone game, Regency Love. As you can see, the ladies are out for a stroll, donning their hats, while the gentleman remains dashing in his cravat and waistcoat.

Jenny is particularly fond of the gentleman’s colours, Melody likes that the townspeople are going on with their own lives in a scene that makes the world seem real, while Samantha adores the floral empire dress and wants one for herself.

What are your favourite things about this little teaser? Let us know in the comments!

Friday Features: Regency Retold

Welcome to Friday Features, fortnightly posts highlighting a particular aspect of our current projects. And in this inaugural post, we’ll be looking at Regency tales—retold!

Regency profiles

Empire dresses, cravats, cotillions, and well-mannered conversations—what’s not to love about the Regency era? In fact, we are so fond of the distinctive time period during 1811-1820, that we’ve sought to re-create the Regency in our current major project, Regency Love, a dynamic role-playing game that allows you to experience a multi-layered world, rich with characters, places, and, of course, stories.
